Early this year, Samsung unveiled their renewed STEP program that also aims to strengthen key marketing skills. In an interview by The VAR Guy with the company’s Director of Channel Marketing, it was said that the new additions to their STEP program was about demand generation. Furthermore,  Director Richard Hutton was quoted saying “this is about holding Samsung accountable for delivering qualified leads to the channel marketplace and enabling our partners to go out and amplify our message and build business opportunities in their market with the tools that we’re bringing to bear.”
